Parent Groups

Hands reaching out to touch fingers, a symbol of support for parents of gifted children

Our Parent Groups provide a space for parents of neurodivergent kids to come together and share experiences. We offer guidance, understanding, and a supportive community that empowers parents to create their own unique neuro-affirming family culture.

  • Free virtual chat group for parents to discuss home/unschooling neurodivergent kids – meets monthly. Join my email list (see right sidebar) for announcements.
  • Six week parent support groups are on hiatus until Summer 2024.

The parent group was, in a word, life-changing. I was surrounded by parents like me, managing kiddos like mine, and it felt like a miracle. No longer was I alone, trying to rally my own resources to manage intensity, sensitivity, and meltdowns that felt too much for me to handle! I felt supported and guided. I understood and supported myself better. I felt like I could do this. And I can. I’m now part of a community of parents who care about their kids as much as I care about mine. We share resources, experience, and laughter. The parent group is a healing space and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Marni and Christy for holding this space for us and giving parents the hope, support, and tools to parent our kids well.
